"Hotel itself was very clean.Bar staff were very friendly, but cost of drinks were ridiculous! The food was very good, and the breakfasts had good options.a shuttle to the casino would have been nice, as my wife had to Uber there while I played Golf.We plan on staying there again next year, but will bring alcohol with us..."

"Room was alright- facility seems to be an older hotel chain that was bought out. Breakfast was alright- ran out of eggs our second morning but was better than the advertised bagel array. Didn’t expect anything fancy and didn’t get anything more than we thought or paid for. Really worked well for us."

"Room was comfortable and clean.ceiling peeling from obvious leaks, could use a refresh. Refrigerator freezer over frozen with som old substance on the ice. Yucky. Maintenance responded immediately and changed out refrigerator and helped regulate room temperature. Woman from maintenance very helpful. Staff in restaurant very professional attentive. Breakfast good but Coffee weak and tasteless. Just a Senior Citizen observation(toilet very low ) overall a great stay, great location, staff attentive and helpful."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Captain Grant's!!! First, Carol and Mike are the most gracious and lovely hosts. Mike really bonded with our little dog, Lilly, playing with her on the spacious 4 acre lawn. The breakfasts each morning were magical, giving the guests an opportunity to get to know each other and the host, Carol. Carol Grace's us with great stories about the history and renovations of the pre-Revolutionary War home. It is such a lovely personal touch that helps make this stay stand out in our memories of our travels. This inn is filled with beautiful antiques, books, a spacious kitchen, and comfortable furniture. Our bed was really comfortable and our room was cozy. We found ourselves wanting to spend more of our time relaxing at the inn rather than out seeing the sights of the area. We and Lilly have found a friend for life in Mike, and can't wait to return to spend more time with him and at this lovely inn!"
