"Location is so easy to get to. The staff were all really nice. The room was a good size and clean. Breakfast was tasty. We were there when it wasn't really busy, so we had the pool to ourselves. Would stay here again. "

"The house sits at the end of the road so all you see are deer, foxes, squirrels, and the birds. Large hill down to the lake but chose this location as there is a road right to the dock so I could get my wife down to our rented pontoon boat. Daily boat rides and fishing from both the boat and the dock. Plenty of bluegills to keep the grandkids interested every day. Frogs at the dock area were a bonus and the 3 yo located every spiderweb and spider on the property with great excitement. If you don’t take the road to the lake the steps will keep you in shape. Half way down the steps it levels off at the fire pit. Great place, for s’mores and jiffy pop with the kids and a cocktail with the adults. The house itself is big with lots of room.kitchen was well equipped and the built in flat top grill was used almost daily for one thing or another. Plenty of seating for meals and also for TV viewing. There was more time spent by the kids viewing deer at the back door. Went thru bags of carrots feeding deer and grandson decided to share the garden tomatoes we brought with. There was a breakfast, lunch, dinner and late night snack for deer viewing. As stated in the description there is a circular iron stair case. At 6’5” 275 I just fit but even the 2 yo mastered the stairs on the first day. Stairs to second floor with a kid play room that has an evil looking doll, lol. We debated evil or just old fashioned. Air hockey of course was a big hit. Beds all comfortable! 5 *****"

"The room was newly renovated, the towels were brand new! It was off-season, so very quite. The staff was very friendly and answered a lot of our questions about how the resort will operate in the winter."
