Charming Artisan House 1925

Located in the heart of a historic neighborhood, this 1925 Craftsman style home is just minutes from the numerous places of interest in downtown Prescott. It is within easy walking distance of bars, restaurants, museums, antique shops, parks, Prescott College, and Yavapai College. Walk to the Courthouse Square and enjoy festivals, concerts, and craft fairs.

Though quaint and historic, the house has been thoughtfully modernized. There are two bedrooms and two baths. In addition, a convertible sofa makes sleeping six possible. There is a locking one-car garage attached to the house. The spacious back yard has seating areas and patios. There is a private front patio with a BBQ area ready for outdoor cooking. An outstanding feature of the house is its spacious and charming front porch overlooking the front gardens - perfect for relaxing, reading, and watching the world go by.

Great Place to Stay for the Weekend!

This home is so cute! We loved the front yard area with the grass, swing, lights and sitting area! The beds were comfy and the home was perfect for a short weekend with friends. Walking distance to Whiskey Row. We had a great time!

Prescott Christmas Visit

3 adult couples reuniting for a fun weekend. The house was very nice and clean. The sofa bed in the living room supplied the 3rd bed. The owner was quick to communicate and bring extra supplies. Highly recommend!

Prescott Stay

Great location. We loved the house it was comfortable and met our needs. Our only suggestion was that the windows needed cleaning. Thank you to the owner for allowing us to check-in two hours early.

Comfortable and Charming, Great Location

We loved our week long stay! This beautiful house is within walking distance of downtown Prescott with wonderful food options nearby. Everything was clean, and the host always responded promptly to questions and messages. We had everything we needed to enjoy our stay and will definitely book again if we find ourselves back in Prescott.

Christmas Parade and Lighting

this was a chance for us to come to Prescott yes, for the Christmas parade and lighting of the town Square. It was our planned Christmas trip with our daughter and her husband and her granddaughter. What a wonderful time! The house was so wonderful and convenient to downtown.

Magical Wedding in Prescott

Lovely home close to downtown

Lots of charm and extra touches. Nicely equipped kitchen for cooking at home. We were not able to adjust the heat; it seems the thermostat is controlled remotely. Parking on the property is only suitable for a small vehicle. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay very much.

Wonderful property

This is my second summer staying in this beautiful house. I love how close it is to town so that I can walk everywhere. And when I am not out walking around, I live on the front porch - morning coffee, happy hour wine, and reading the afternoon away. John and Rhonda are excellent hosts. I look forward to many future summers in this house.

Close to downtown. Up in beginning of the mountain so scenery is beautiful. Comfortable and clean. AC worked well. Nice front porch for relaxing. Only thing lacking was no shower amenities (shower soap or shampoo).

Excellent stay close to downtown Prescott

This was an excellent place to celebrate our 43rd anniversary. The house was spotless and very comfortable. It is a short walk to downtown Prescott with all the great shopping and dining. A great front porch for sitting and visiting and a bonus little patio/garden area for eating outside if desired. Communication with John was fast and effective. My only suggestion for improvement would be to make sure the Pur water filter gets changed, it was flashing red when we arrived. Thanks for a great stay!

Great weekend getaway!

THe house was well kept and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook some meals without having to go out for every meal. The owner provided us with all the information we needed before checking in, and even reached out the day we were leaving to offer us to stay a few hours past checkout time due to the snow, and also offered to come shovel snow. Turned out he didn't need to, because the long term tenant in the other unit on the property came out and shoveled the snow for us. Would definitely stay here again the next time we are in Prescott.

Great location near downtown Prescott & the Courthouse Square and Whiskey Row.

We enjoyed the house and our stay. I would mention a concern about the electrical on this older home since the lighting in the kitchen would sometimes take over an hour before the light would actually come on. Also the kitchen is in need of a cabinet update and it would have been nice to know that there was no dishwasher.

The home is absolutely beautiful & all the antique furniture is wonderful. John & Rhonda are awesome hosts. Anytime there was a need John responded right away. Home is in a great location close to downtown and Embry Riddle. The home is beautifully decorated to go with the age of the home. Beautiful Home Close to Everything

This home is absolutely beautiful, clean and spacious inside and out. Well equipped with everything you need to cook, grill and plenty of towels and bedding. Beds were very comfortable including the air mattress. The owner communicates quickly. We had a question on how the tv worked and he responded immediately. The house is in walking distance to downtown Prescott/Whiskey Row along with shopping and restaurants. One suggestion would be to bring an eye mask if you like to sleep in. The rooms are bright and cheery early in the morning. Highly recommend for couples, family’s or a group of friends.

"It's all about the porch, and we'll be back"

Before arriving for our two week stay, John, the owner, was quick to respond to our inquiries about the home, which is everything depicted in the pictures and then some. A short walk to the Courthouse Square, the home is nestled in the trees in a neighborhood of Victorian Homes, and is the cleanest VRBO home that my wife and I have ever stayed in. The quality living room furniture is from Pottery Barn and Restoration Hardware. For my wife and I it's all about "The Porch" where we spent our time having coffee in the morning, reading or just relaxing under the blue Prescott sky, waiting for the monsoon rains and returning to "The Porch" in the evening after dinner. Everything on our list of must haves ; clean, a well stocked kitchen, central air conditioning, garage, great location, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, no smoking , no pets and no parties were checked off with this home. The owners, John and Rhonda, are off to a very good start as new VRBO home owners. They live close by in case their needed. They take great pride in their VRBO and it shows. We look forward to retuning to "The Porch" and "Highly Recommend John and Rhonda's Craftsman VRBO.
