"We enjoyed our time on Somo lake, the paddle boat was also a lot of fun. This was our first real trip with our 8 month old puppy, cabin 1 was ideal for a dog and she learned to swim as well. Huge bonus was the water was clean so Echo didn’t require a bath. Good experience!"

"We didnt need anything more than a place to sleep. We were in town for an outside party/band . Needed a place to sleep. This was nice and quiet. Never even heard the storm roll in that night. "

"We had a great time! We were originally planning to go tent camping and due to thunderstorms in the forecast we canceled that reservation and found this cabin available. We are SO glad we did! The cabin is small but very much everything we needed. Yes there were cobwebs and spiders and the cabin is not fully updated but truthfully, I believe if it was - the charm would be lost! I believe the owners live across the way in a home on the property and they were kind enough to provide us with dry firewood, kindling, and coals from their own fire so that we could enjoy a fire with our kids to have s’mores. Staying here has put a strong desire in me to buy our own cabin someday with similar esthetics. Until that day - we will continue to book here in the future! So thankful for the hospitality! "

"Seems like it is a new VRBO, the property is nice, great location. THERE IS NO AIR CONDITIONING. Maybe they are working on it. However half of our occupants were miserable and overheated, which made for a less than ideal vacation. Yes there were a couple box fans. The front door handle fell off Saturday, still was not fixed by the time we left tuesday. There is no actual private water access, the shoreline needs to be trimmed down and some sort of dock added, or not, but the shoreline is overgrown and nearly inaccessible. I think this could be a great spot. They just have a little more to do."
