"We loved Vila Toca. It was conveniently situated and within walking distance of shops, bus stops (including the airport bus) and the town centre. Our apartment had plenty of character. The balcony on the third floor was large and lovely for al fresco dining and had good Mountain Views. We also made good use of the swimming pool. The manager responded promptly, helpfully and courteously to messages. The lady who cleaned our room was very helpful and friendly. It was excellent value for money....

"A fabulous location, and surprisingly quiet for being in the heart of the old town. Apartment 1 is at the top of the building with 2 steep staircases to navigate. But once up there it is airy and bright with everything you could need. No hanging space for clothes but lots of room to store items flat. Accommodating and quick response to messages with host. Ein Mietwagen ist empfehlenswert, da es ein ganzes Stück bergauf geht. Parkmöglichkeiten waren i.d.R. vor der Unterkunft gegeben (öffentlich/kein fester Stellplatz). The shower leaked, the bathroom door is sticky and you have to call the company to meet you at the apartment to get in. There was no lock box. We saw a friend's apartment close by which was the same price and it was beautiful. When we had an issue and called and emailed the company OVER 10 times, there was no response for over 24 hours! Needed more than one fan didn't ask if could have more as weather just becoming hot as left. "Rental unit is located above a busy and loud shopping mall. So if you want a quieter place x this isn’t it. We were here only 3 nights and the in-unit washer broke on first use. Someone came to fix it the next day, but upon second use it broke again. We ended coming back and fixing it ourselves, YouTube to the rescue.
