"Unfortunately not at all as we expected. It really is in the middle of nowhere - so dangerous hairy roads to negotiate meaning no chance of fresh morning croissants. As to returning in the dark after a night out - definitely not! The interior is nicely decorated but not very cosy with a very basic kitchen definitely designed by someone who doesn't cook. We left after only one night!"

"We had the most amazing fortnight at En Macary. Jean-Claude and Françoise were wonderful hosts going out their way to ensure our stay was as perfect as possible. The gite and garden were beyond expectation and the space was brilliant for letting our children roam freely."

Nous avons pu célébrer nos anniversaires avec mon conjoint et une quarantaine d'invités. "Our second visit to this beautiful home and it didn’t disappoint. We had a fun and relaxing holiday. During our stay we visited Carcassonne, a medieval city-you should definitely visit at only an hour away by car. The locals were really kind and friendly. Marie was also a delightful and helpful host whose friendliness and communication was amazing. "

Very well equipped kitchen - with everything we needed to cook at home and a great recommendation for a local restaurant (chez Fernandez)we we certainly didn’t go hungry . Severine and Yannis were amazing hosts ( especially when one of our party needed a doctor ) helpful and friendly. Pool was great although not easy to get out of for those with limited mobility. "Nous n'avons pas été dans cette maison, car j'ai annulé le séjour 48h avant le départ. Ma femme a été emmenée d'urgence à l'hôpital et aujourd'hui elle est dans un coma- très avancé. Est-ce que je puis attendre à un geste de votre part pour me rembourser une partie du loyer payé; Merci"

"Idéalement situé à 1 heure max de tous les sites touristiques de la région : Albi, Carcassonne, Castelnaudary, Revel, Toulouse… Boulangerie à 5 minutes et supermarché à 15 minutes. Lieu parfait pour des vacances au calme et en famille. Animaux de compagnie acceptés. Pas de Clim mais les épais murs du château préserve de la chaleur même par les plus chaudes journées d’été. Le couple d’hôte est très accueillant et avenant. Coup de cœur pour ce château. "
