"*this is during May, off peak season for khaoyai* Pros - Rooms were spacious and clean, lobby and facilities are nice, breakfast spread was good (more during wkends), mini bar and water was replenished daily and generous, facilities were spaced out quite far but buggy services prompt and frequent, staff were friendly and willing to help. Great for a quiet retreat. Cons - construction still ongoing around the lake so the view is not as great as advertised but hotel can’t be faulted for this."

"We stayed here 12 years ago having enjoyed it then. The property seems to have expanded exponentially. Great service, staff, superb breakfast and choices. Very comfortable living and you don't have to walk anywhere..always a handy shuttle within a phone call. Property has class! Will visit again. More affordable weekdays."

"Saengcha resort is a family run resort and there is absolute personalised service from Munin, the owner and his brother! The breakfast is excellent and they will even cook excellent local meals on request. Munin also runs an agar wood essential oil factory and a cocoa factory shott distance off premise. It was so interesting getting to know the process of making essential oil and chocolates respectively from Munin. We stayed there as we wanted to go Khao Yai national park. We didn't have a car and Munin planned a marvellous itinerary for us at khao yai and drove us around the entire day(for a very reasonable fee). We trekked in designated treks (munin dropped us off and picked us up at the other side of the trek), even saw wild elephants and that was the super highlight of the trip. He loaned us bicycles to cycle around to the nearby waterfalls and we had quite an adventure getting lost... but it was plenty of fun. On the whole the experience created by Munin and his brother made a superb memorable trip! Very highly recommend you entrust your holiday to his hospitable and personalised self! He arranged to have us sent back to bangkok too. "

"Love this place! The room was really 5 stars clean,Luxurious, comfy. The staff are really nice and polite. I mean every staff member are so proper. I feel safe at this place. The location is super convenient right off the Main Street bus I didn’t feel the noise from the street at all. Just a little part that I think it could be better is the food.. I mean the food looks nice and clean but the taste is a little bland for all the items that i have tried. But please don’t get me wrong, all staffs at the restaurant are so nice and do a great job tho"
