"The hotel is ready for a cosmetic overhaul and consequently looks a little tired’’ That said the food was very good but service from all members of staff was fantastc. They were all extremely polite considerate and extremely friendly "

"Friendly, helpful staff. Hotel well utilised by locals. Decor could be refreshed. Cleaning staff do a great job. Food good. Beds in the twin room could be more comfortable, even mattress toppers could help. Would stay again."

"I arrived late for check in and the restaurant had closed but the owner made me something as i had been traveling all day, I was also leaving too early the next day so the owners again my me a take away bag as an alternative, they really went out of their way and it was really appreciated. Nice dog friendly pub too, had fusses with owners dog who was lovely and friendly. Would 100% reccomend "

"An amazing,peaceful 4 bedroom Scottish Inn with gourmet dining and a pub…swans on the river outside my window! I never wanted to leave! Lovely staff. Comfy bed and bedding. We chose it because it was a short taxi ride to the airport, but it turned out to be a highlight of our vacation!"

"We had a lovely time at Heather's house! We were a group of three families, the place caters especially well for extended families. All went really well, Heather was a very lovely and caring host. Thanks for having us!"

"The old Linlithgow Court House has been expertly repurposed into a very nice residence hotel with a very high level of fit and finish! Our room was large, airy, bright and came with all the amenities one would expect The host Jim is very helpful and friendly. The kitchen in the room came complete with eggs, milk, juice, butter and various breakfast foods and snacks! We very much enjoyed our stay."

"Snugs are flawless, bigger than expected, perfectly clean, everything worked, had everything we needed. Only con is there was a function on at the main venue that went on until mid night and we could hear the ‘doof doof roof’ of the base over the tv and also sleep sounds at max volume on my phone until then, we were in the furthered away cabin. "
