Clean, warm, comfortable and the renovation of an old traditional building was to the highest standard. Our host, Bob, was exceptionally helpful on our arrival and easily contacted if required. Other than the odd wave if we saw him, he left us to enjoy our holiday. Although Abernethy itself has little to offer, there is plenty of shops, pubs and restaurants all within easy reach. "What a beautiful cottage, very impressed spotless & well equipped. Only issue was high back chair that was damaged with no note to say it had been noticed and or reported, we emailed Cottages.com but no reply ! Our dog loved the garden, Coorie by the sea for doggie breakfast. we will certainly return again soon & Thank you"

She treated us like family. She even left us some food items to get us started with our stay. We would 100% stay here again. Absolutely charming."

"Ideal location with charming village area nearby. Easy walk to local pub and to the water. Flat was spacious and well equipped; but could have used a bit more maintenance and some air freshener (near the sea, so a bit of a damp, musty smell). It was a bit farther from central Edinburg (~40 min) than I had expected; but the quaint village feel of the area was well worth the few extra minutes drive. All in all a nice place to support local sight seeing and day trips."
