"Room was nicely decorated, comfortable. Good tv. Shower room ideal for our needs. Breakfast was good, lots of choice and fresh. Only slight fault was noise of traffic as we had window open "

"Nice hotel, walking distance to the blacksmiths and all the gift shops. The room was a little dated but very spacious and clean. I loved the little fireplace heater. The staff was excellent and I enjoyed the breakfast. The only issue I had was the lack of outlets near the bed to charge your phone. I attended a wedding at Gretna and the reception was held here, I really enjoyed the dinner!"

"Lovely hotel, very friendly helpful staff. Foo was excellent. Rooms lovely. Hotel is rutal, so 4 stars is simply not a lot around - but if looking for a quiet rural hotel excellent. Simple facilities- if being really picky, could do with access to movies or streaming from room's tv."
