"We had a fab week stay in the cottage. Communication with Charlotte was fantastic, easy instructions in the manual on how everything worked. The cottage is cosy and had everything we needed. Surroundings are great and the kids had so much fun on the rope swings and zip wire. Location was good, the local village is lovely. We ventured into Lyme Regis, West Bay, Golden Cap and lulworth. "Purcombe Farmhouse is a gem. It provides comfortable and very well equipped accommodation, suitable for all ages - our family group were aged 66 down to 1yr and we all had a wonderful week there. Lovely gardens to explore and the hot tub was a definite plus later at night! This property is so peaceful and with stunning views, yet only a 10 minute drive from Bridport"

"This is not the Ritz - but there are some really good points - it's lovely and quiet - so a good sleep was easy. Take your own towels - ones provided were not great - I would also say take your own bedding. One major for a couple is the double is on a mezz and the toilet is down stairs - this didn't effect me as I was on my own so slept in the single room downstairs. Owner is lovely - and my stay in Sherborne very nice. Lovely place."

"Perfect for our visit. In the area for a wedding and it really filled the bill for my wife, myself, our son and daughter and our young granddaughter. Co-op store across the street. Coffee and bakery 50 feet away. Pub with meal service 500 feet up the lane. Comfortable, large, well equipped, and charming. Will stay again at the next opportunity. Great communication with the owner and easy access to the property. "

"This is probably the very best holiday accommodation i have ever stayed in. It was clean, spacious and the kitchen was superbly well equipped. The grounds are extensive, wirh beautiful views. We were here in late spring when rhe blossom and birdsong are amazing. We had an age range of 9 to 70 and everybody was happy. The games room got a lot of use! The hosts were pleasant and gracious. A very very big thank you to our hosts. Worth every penny!,"
