Cons: it is about15-20 min drive to Split, but in the morning it took us over an hour to reach Split. "Villa Mediterranea is well positioned in Bol - midway between town and main beach. Rooms and beds are comfortable with efficient air-condioning. Staff pleasant and helpful. Pool area is pleasant but small but the local beach is fine and a few mins away. Sunbeds 20 euros per day each. Bol itself is a lovely unspoilt town."

"We had travelled around for 6 weeks and this had to be the worse bed I've ever tried to sleep in. You could feel every spring in the mattress and when moving the bed would creak. Everything stunk like smoke and you had to pay extra for the air conditioning!! We choose this hotel as it had private parking, however when we got there we were advised we would have to park on the street 200m away next to a building site which wasn't peace of mind when you have a rental vehicle.
