Top Poulnabrone Dolmen Hotel Reviews
Queen Street Place
8/10 Good
"Clean comfortable new rooms. Bed a bit soft. Good views of Galway bay from the kitchen areas. Couldnt be closer to Rail and Bus in Eyre Square 2 mins away. Nightlife and Shops close but no noise at night."
Doolin Inn
10/10 Excellent
"Great stay! Convenient location for walking to village for dinner and to the pier. Very clean room and comfortable bed. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would definitely return!"
Kinvara Guesthouse
10/10 Excellent
"Very clean and comfortable room. Nice breakfast for a quick start. Front desk was extremely helpful and courteous."
Connemara Coast Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Beautiful hotel with an incredible view, restaurants, and amazing staff. 100% will return on my next holiday to Ireland."
Lahinch Coast Hotel & Suites
10/10 Excellent
"We greatly enjoyed our stay during spring break with our family of 5. We booked 2 adjoining rooms, including a suite, and had plenty of space. Room was a bit warm, but a call to front desk (to ensure I knew how to modify temp controls) and things were worked out and heat turned off in room. The restaurant food was great and staff were wonderful. Room was clean and son enjoyed the pool. My only less than perfect experience is the constant door noise heard well into the late evening. There are fire doors in the hallways, with one almost every 3 - 4 rooms. They stay closed 24-7 and make noise every time they close when anyone walks through. Even in our large suite with a separate closed door to our bedroom, I heard the door all evening and did not get much sleep. Would be nice to have some sort of cushioning on door jam to preclude hearing them close."
Rathbaun Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Loved the tea s in our room. So relaxing after traveling.. Thank you for all the towels and cups in the bathroom. Rooms are small but still places for suitcases."
Clybaun Hotel Galway
10/10 Excellent
"It was okay. Busy and lots of facilities; just not the prettiest location."
Flannery's Hotel Galway
10/10 Excellent
"Best hotel we stayed in on our trip. Clean. Staff were very helpful. Bus stop to get into the city was right out of the hotel entrance. Very convenient."
The Waters Country House
10/10 Excellent
"An amazing place. We had the Mountain Suite, which had a large four-poster kingsize bed plus two single beds for kids, which was decorated beautifully in an Irish medieval style, full of dark painted wood set off with pieces of art from places across the world. The location is super quiet, being a couple minutes from the nearest 'busy' road (busy is a relative term in North Clare!), but is only a short drive from some very nice places to eat and drink. The hosts - an Italian/Spanish couple who have been running this place for years now - are very personable, welcoming and engaging. Highly recommended if you want to stay in a place that makes it hard to get off your backside and actually go to the Cliffs of Moher!"
