"A lovely small complex of apartments in a quiet area. Everything you need just a couple of minutes walk away, restaurants, bars, shops and of course, the beach. After having all the enjoyment and excitement that kos has to offer, its nice to come back to the apartment and relax in what is a very peaceful setting. "A nice hotel but as it was the start of the season, a little disorganised in terms of the rooms, what was provided etc. The first room allocated was under the bar and very noisy at night. There were also constant issues with corridor lighting not being turned off. We moved rooms eventually, which did help. However, overall I wouldn't go back because of the noise issue and the general quality of some of the rooms."

"I would just like to thank both Nikos and Katerina for all their help on my time at Kontessa, the view and location of this property is lovely, Guya who deals with housekeeping was so lovely and helpful, unfortunately I feel ill 2 days before the end of my holiday and Katerina could not do enough to help me.. "The private entrance to the property was the first indication we had chosen for something special for our stay on Kos. Our week at Ta Spitakia was so relaxing that we spent less time at the beach and just lazed around the villas outdoor seating area or on the private sun loungers. "Really nice property, cleaned daily and stocked up with drinks. Conveniently located for beach and restaurants. The only things to make this better would be to have some soft light in the bedroom - it’s either the blue light or all lights on. Not great if you want to read a book. The outside light only worked if the key was in the electricity slot so you couldn’t have it on for when you come home in the dark so it would useful if this was changed. Otherwise everything was great. "

"A lovely but basic apartment right on the beach with a small pool. Had the pool to ourselves most the time. There is a bus stop opposite or about 20 mins walk to centre. We were out of check in time so emailed but received no response, we called and they had received email. They sort check in so if you don't have a reply it will all be fine "

"Please stay somewhere else!!!! We stayed as a party of 4 with 3 rooms. Our room didn’t have hot water in the morning and their response was that we needed to wait until 9 or so. Our friend’s rooms, which were not near the office, had no Wi-Fi and it wasn’t addressed. The beds were hard, cheap and you were able to feel the springs. We were all sore in the morning.
