"We stayed here for a week with our two children, 8 and 11 years old and it really felt cozy and comfortable. The terrace was very inviting and you could easily spend a whole day just listening to the waves and watching the ships go by in the distance. The local fisherman were also interesting to watch. Perhaps a little minimalist, especially as for self-catering there are only two hobs and a kettle (and limited cooking utensils) but a klarge fridge-freezer. Balcony with table and (two) chairs is great for taking in the view of the channel and mainland and watching sunsets. "I chose the "suite", expecting that it would be a treat for us to upgrade. Unfortunately, it turned out to be in a separate building next to the main hotel. It had a beautiful view of the unfinished and abandoned building that blocked our view of the ocean. I tried to get a different room, but none were available.
