I had a fantastic 2 night stay at L’Ancora - the entire staff from the reception, restaurant and housekeeping were so kind, friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was located in a fantastic location with the best views! The room was spacious with the best balcony views! I would not hesitate to stay here again!!

This property is SO clean. If you are looking for a clean and relaxing place to stay this is it. They cleaned our room twice everyday and were so thorough. Breakfast was amazing. The staff cooking our breakfast were absolutely the sweetest and so caring.

Fantastic hotel! We were in a family suite and it was very spacious with two bathrooms. Every single staff member was SO pleasant and engaging. Location is awesome with direct access to the road. Meaning that if you arrive by car, you don’t have to lag your luggage on the stairs. At the same time, this hotel is located very close to stairs with a fairly close access to the main beach (definitely easier access than many hotels/other accommodations). Breakfast was nice and the views were superb. Everything was very clean, air conditioning worked well, bed was very comfortable and shower water pressure was great. Highly recommend and would stay here again!

Wonderful experience, friendly staff, and great location! Sacha at the front desk was very professional and helpful throughout our stay. The one downside is it’s not directly on the beach and doesn’t have a pool. Otherwise we were a family of 5 that fit comfortably in the sea view family suite. Highly recommend!

Our room had an amazing view with a large patio overlooking the church dome, the bay, beach and the dock. Room was well supplied, very clean and staff was eager to maintain it that way. AC worked well. Front desk staff was very helpful in providing needed transportation in advance and dinner reservations. (There was a delay in finding our pre-arranged porter at the ferry dock which could be improved ). Breakfast food and service was excellent and restaurant had great views as well. The only negative about it is that it is loud since it sits right on the street and the frequent car and motorcycle traffic echoes loudly in it. The only other negative we experienced was the cleaning staff (loudly) using their supply closet very early in the morning right outside our room. Overall though, would certainly stay there again and highly recommend.

This was our first time choosing a hotel in Positano. Our personal requirements were near the beach, near restaurants, near many boutiques and easy to walk everywhere from the hotel and not have to take a cab like some that were up high hills etc. La Ancora for us checked all the boxes. From our terrace we had the view of the water and the photo you see of Positano at night with the bldgs or house all lit up. It was magical. It’s a boutique hotel not large but it’s charming and beautiful and not thousands of dollars a night. Well worth whatever we paid. We highly recommend and will return! The staff was professional and helpful too.Transportation could easily be made with them. A lovely Mercedes picked us up to take us to the train station and it was just like having a tour he was so informative and fun. You can tell by now we love Italy and LaAncora.

This hotel was amazing. The room was so nice. The view was spectacular. The staff was awesome...helpful and very friendly. The location was great because it was far enough away from the "busy" part of Positano but close enough to walk to the main shopping areas. We loved our stay in L'Ancora and will definitely recommend to our friends and family should they travel to Positano.

This hotel is very comfortable and has a great view and value. Vincenzo at the front desk always wore a smile, and Susie and I shared many conversations. These two made me feel so welcomed. Is this hotel the peak of luxury in Positano? No but it was clean, affordable, welcoming, beautiful view, great location, solid breakfast delivered to your room daily included.
