We had a great stay at Venus Inn in Positano. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and offered a beautiful view. The best part of our stay was the manager, Gippy — he’s incredibly helpful and gave us excellent advice on how to explore the area. Highly recommend!

It was an amazing experience. The room was spacious and clean. The service excellent! The balcony had an incredible view which we enjoyed in the morning while breakfast was served and at night time the view was transformed with all the lights. Many great restaurants to enjoy nearby. This place was just wonderful from the owner Gippy to the location. The breakfast is amazing keeps you full on these hot days. Gippy was very welcoming and helpful, best cappuccino we’ve had. Stay at the Venus Inn!!

The B&B is well located, giving great views of the coast and of Positano. Gippy was incredibly friendly and helpful, he is a very genuine person and gave us good tips during our stay - we wouldn't hesitate to return. He definitely goes above and beyond and really added to our great Amalfi experience!

Excellent, good value B&B

Venus B&B Positano is in a great location - 20 minute stroll from beach/water taxis/shops/restaurants. Room large and comfortable, good shower. Fantastic view from terrace where breakfast was served. The best part of the Venus B&B is the owner Gippy - a wonderful host who can't do enough for guests. He made us extremely welcome. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Venus and will certainly return.

Comfortable B&B with classic Amalfi Coast views

From the moment we were met by Gippy, the owner of Venus Inn, when we arrived in Positano by bus, he was a fantastic host, giving us lots of useful tips about the town and day trips along the Amalfi Coast and to the islands. The centre of Positano is an easy, downhill 20-minute walk from the B&B by road, and even quicker by stairs. Great views at breakfast from the terrace down to the sea and up to the nearby peaks. Only a couple of minutes' walk from some decent restaurants if you don't fancy the walk down to the centre.

Lovely b&b option in Positano away from the crowds

Nice b&b on the hill with only a few rooms so you really feel private and taken care of. The owner Gippy made sure we had everything we needed for a smooth check in due to our uncertainty regarding our arrival & plans. The breakfast was wonderful and felt even more lovely in the beautiful location. The room had the partial sea view as promised and also great view on the city/mountainside. It was a hike for sure getting there but there are several nice restaurants close by so no need to go downhill to eat if not in the mood. Shower water never got warm but it was ok with it being summertime in Aug. Really appreciated the personal, homey feel of this property and small details down to the plants on the balcony.

Fantastic Location, View and Value

We enjoyed our stay in this excellent location for Positano. Our host Gippy is fantastic and has great recommendations for sightseeing and dining not only in Postiano but along the Amalfi Coast. The rooms are simple and very nice. We found the rooms very clean as well as the shower. We wanted a room with a view, and we got a fantastic view, with a terrace for a great value. We did have breakfast at an additional $4euros per person, and we thought it was perfect. Fresh fruit and croissants, jam and juice and delicious coffee made fresh, plus we could walk out on our terrace and enjoy the morning while having breakfast. We loved Positano and the Venus Inn B & B!
