"Dont let the area put you off, “ghetto-esque” properties overlook, but absolutely no issues with the locals, all very safe. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, good quality breakfast,drinks and food at the restaurant are nice and decent price for a hotel. Staff were all friendly. 10 minutes walk to old town "

"1. Hotel has an in-house restaurant and a menu of options at reasonable prices (we had dinner having arrived late in the afternoon) 2. Hotel has a private beach area (next to the lake) with sun lounges and umbrellas 3. The room space and bathroom are generous and was sufficient for 2 guests, each travelling with a medium-sized suitcase 4. Small bar fridge to keep food/drinks cold 5. "We stayed in a family luxury mobile home with pool and it was wonderful. On site there is a waterpark with splash pad and several pools with different sizes of slides which was great for kids. There was also a dreamy infinity pool overlooking the mountains for the grown ups. our mobile home was about 10 meters from the beach and our private pool was gorgeous and maintained daily. A wonderful resort but my only grumble would be the food. With several restaurants i thought there would be some choice but they all seem very similar. Vegetarian food barely exists in croatia and here was no different. the children's menu was 2 items so you could not dine here easily for a week. We had a kitchenette which we could prepare a couple of simple meals in but no oven. "
