"I had concerns about staying here but it was exactly what you should expect with a motel. Lobby smelled like smoke but my room did not which was most important. Convenient to downtown, room was clean, we didn’t need to shower as we headed home first thing in the morning."

"The only reason I gave the property conditions a 3 was it's current condition. However, the new owners are in the process of restoring and updating the facilities. Since it's the busy tourist season, they can only do a room at a time. Outside renovations have begun too. All the people from owners to staff were wonderful, friendly and helpful. I suspect the motel might not be keep budget rates after the upgrades, but I would certainly consider staying there again."

"Property itself is very historic but they offered us a very nice renovated room. No complain about room. If they can add a coffee maker at least in each room, it will be nicer. Convenient location to the down town, nice Mexican restaurant and shopping near by. We will be back. Thank you. "
