3.0 star property

"I couldn’t stay the night... This hotel is more like a hostel. There were several families in residence with kids running & screaming in the filthy living room / bar area off the lobby. Hotel Castello di Tavolara
3.0 star property
9.0 out of 10, Wonderful, (42)
"Great little hotel. Staff was excellent- always very kind and helpful. Continental breakfast was very good with a large variety of fresh fruit, pastries and delicious cappuccinos to start your day. Location was perfect to explore from with short distances to Olbia and amazing beaches. Rooms were a little outdated but kept very clean. A quaint small town but very quiet- just what you need for a family. Would definitely stay there again."

However, there is a beach, 10 mins walk and a nicer beach about 20 mins...
