"Very clean and affordable, walking distance to many attractions of interest. Staff was kind and helpful. I highly recommend this place. I stayed in an 8 person dorm with shared bathroom and the facilities were very clean and safe. Rooms were set up so that each person also had privacy as well. Near restaurants and grocery shops, and metro. "

"Lovely old house now run as a family business hotel. Great location if you don't mind a short walk into Sintra. Free parking is a bonus as driving and parking in Sintra can be a nightmare. Super friendly staff and fabulous buffet breakfast. Room comfortable but no glasses for drinking water. For the price it would have been nice to have tea and coffee making facilities and possibly a bottle of drinking water. That said, we loved it and would come again."

"This was a one night stay and close to the bus station. Easy to find,.just inside the wall and very modern and clean inside. Room was nice, no frills, but comfortable, and quiet. The bed was super comfortable and big!! They stores our bags for us the next day after checkout too "

"Manuel. Ana, and all the staff made us feel very welcome, and offered lots of information about Lisbon. The location is great, right next to Campo Pequeno Metro station, it only take a few minutes to travel into the centre by either metro or bus. The room was large, clean, and nicely designed, with a lovely little balcony overlooking the street below. Breakfast was generous and very tasty. I would highly recommend staying at B&B Republica."

"The location, size, staff and amenities were all excellent. Only negative was the shower, which was very impractical and the toilet area which was quite small and awkward. If you get up a night and forget about the step, it could be a hazard. Everything else was perfect. Would stay again, maybe try a different room with a better bathroom. "

"We have our own private Terrace With an incredible view Of the valley below The Castle of the Moors. Our bathroom has heated marble floors! Everything about the room is comfortable and useful. Free bottled water, and a mini fridge with beer and other stuff available for purchase. The breakfast was excellent and we were served coffee, and helped ourselves to the rest of the buffet.
