"We had a great time in this large, picturesque house with swimming pool in the Sardinia hills. Owner Olivia is super friendly, knows a lot about the area, and is always around the house in the apartment below to answer questions and for small talk and/or to make reservations at nice restaurants. Location is about 20 minutes out from Santa Teresa and the nearest beach is about 10 minutes away. House is spacious with two single beds, and matrimonial beds otherwise. We had a great time!"

"This gorgeous villa is ideal for family stays. It has four spacious bedrooms complete with en suite bathrooms, a spacious kitchen and living room with a terrace overlooking a stunning view. We particularly appreciated the Gallurese stones adorning the garden and the facade. The nearby village, San Pantaleo is perfect for summery nights out. Even though it’s located in the country side, it’s just a short drive from most of the popular beaches in the area."

The other main issue was that the pool is up steep steps to the upper level and is overlooked by the owner. From the photographs on HomeAway you think you are getting a portion of the villa that overlooks the pool/sea. You don’t realise that you will be below stairs with no view. The other unsettling feature is that there are surveillance...

"This was our second time staying at this villa and for good reason. The host, Adriana, was incredibly accommodating and delivered the villa as advertised. Very clean and to our pleasant surprise, with some modern updates. AC was a nice addition for those hot afternoons. Location is perfect. Walking distance to market (5 min walk), the port (17 min walk), and of course the beaches (3 min walk to Baia Caddinas Beach). And important to note, WIFI was good. "This hotel is exceptional! My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the Cervo hotel. This hotel has it all! amazing views, great restaurants, secluded beach, and breakfast. Their staff is genuinely nice and accommodating. I want to thank Luigi from the concierge desk for the tour recommendations and arranging our car rental. Antonella from the breakfast restaurant prepared for me a homemade tea when I told her I was not feeling well. All these details make this hotel a unique one. If you want to have an unforgettable experience in Porto Cervo, you should stay at the Cervo hotel! "

"Hotel Piccada was lovely! Our check-in went smoothly and the staff was welcoming. Our room was well organized to fit three people and the location was excellent. There were restaurants and little street shops everywhere. There was also a supermarket nearby. We would recommend this hotel to anyone passing through Palau looking for a quieter area to stay. "
