"Casa do Duque" House

  • 4 bedroom house that can host a maximum of 8 people. All rooms have air conditioner and are equipped with everything guests may need. The house has a garage to park 1 car, however another car can be parked right in front of the house. We provide towels, bed sheets and some other amenities for our guests.

    "Casa do Duque" is a 3 floored house.
    The ground floor has a garage, a living room, a dinning room, a kitchennete, a terrace and a service toilet.
    In the first floor guests will find 3 bedrooms (with double beds), 2 bathrooms (both with showers) and 1 balcony facing the back of the house.
    In the second floor there is a big area with 2 single bedrooms and one bathroom (with showers).

Perfect family homr

Stayed for 5 nights after a wedding in braga. Was perfect spot- great space and easy to get everywhere. Check in was flexible as we arrived a little early and Ferdinand worked with us- so helpful!

Great Porto home for the week

Fernando was so awesome as a host. He let us come a day early because our airline cancelled our flights into Lisbon so we went straight to Porto. The home had everything we needed, was clean and comfortable. I would recommend his home for a holiday.

Loved this place!

Everything was perfect from property, location, cleanliness, spaciousness, and furnishings. My family ages 1 to 66 raved about it. Host was wonderful. Would stay there again. Highly recommend.

Excellent Rental - Wonder amenities!

Had everything we needed, plus more. Beautiful home with an awesome outside patio. Short walk to everything, but very doable. Convenient grocery close. Checking in and out was very simple.

Outstanding

We stayed for a family vacation with our two daughters aged 12 and 16. The house was perfect - spacious, well decorated and appointed. It felt like a home. We loved the private courtyard and deck. Fernando was a wonderful host. He had food basics waiting for us when we arrived which was most appreciated after an overseas flight and three hour drive. The house is on a quiet street, a short walk from all of the hustle and bustle of downtown. Dux cafe a block away has an amazing Francesinha sandwich!

Beautiful and quiet

This apartment was perfect for three couples. We all had plenty of space and privacy and the outdoor patio was a great place to come home to and reset each afternoon. It is in a quiet street and an easy walk to everything. The apartment is beautifully furnished and had everything we needed. Fernando, our host, was so helpful and was able to provide great advice to make our stay in Porto even better.

Beautiful Porto get-away

The house was beautiful, and the owner was very welcoming. He greeted us and shared useful information about the city. He also provided croissants, rolls, milk, fruit, and a bottle of wine so that we would have some basics before we had a chance to go to the market. Definitely recommend this house!

Great Property, Great Location

Fernando was a great host met us at the house when our driver brought us to the property and got us set up. The place was perfect for us, we were three couples and we really appreciated the spacious living room and dinning room and the kitchen was well appointed. The location is also a plus in a nice neighborhood that is located within walking addition of the main parts of Porto. Uber is readily available as well. We found small markets just down the street and a major super market within 15 minuets walk. Highly recommend this property.

Gorgeous house in artsy neighborhood

The property was beautifully furnished and well laid out for a family with spacious living and dining rooms as well as a really well-stocked modern kitchen with state of the art appliances. Fernando, the host had yogurt, juice, milk, butter, wine, beer and soda in the fridge, fresh croissants and rolls on the counter and a bowl of fruit on the counter. Oh, and watermelon in the fridge too. Such a wonderful welcome. Wi-Fi worked great. We didn’t have car but there was a really nice garage. Washer worked great and a few minutes on the drying rack on the patio and clothes were dry. Two great sunny patios. Grocery store, cafes, playground within a block. 10 minute walk to the center of town. Nice to come back to the peaceful, safe neighborhood at night. Definitely recommend this house. We would stay here again.

Simply Fantastic

This accommodation could not have been any more perfect for our group of 6 (3 couples). The check-in process was a breeze and we were even able to check-in a bit early which saved a lot of logistical/ baggage headaches after arriving via flight. There was plenty of room including large bedrooms, lots of common space, and the excellent patio. The host provided a welcoming Portugal bottle of wine upon arrival which was a very nice gesture. The air conditioning worked great and we utilized the washing machine without any hitches. The neighborhood is quiet and non-touristy and the host gave us some excellent restaurant suggestions within a 8ish minute walk. There was also a nearby grocery store which is very convenient. This was without a doubt the best experience I've had using a homeshare and would highly suggest the beautiful accommodations to other travelers.

Endroit de rêve

Nous avons eu un accueil très chaleureux de Fernando, la maison est extraordinaire, magnifiquement décorée, très fonctionnelle, avec toutes les facilités. Nous avons loué plusieurs maisons en Italie et au Portugal, celle ci est vraiment au premier rang !

Fabulous!

This house was ideal in so many ways! Close enough to walk in to the historic center, but just enough outside to have a neighborhood feel with plenty of local shops and cafés. As in the photos, the house is impeccably designed and very comfortable as well. The host, Fernando, was helpful and left us a generous amount of groceries and beverages to get started and was kind enough to let her daughter leave her bag in the garage for a couple of hours after check-out until her train departure. The kitchen is particularly well equipped and the back garden is a delight. We also enjoyed stepping out onto the upper balcony in the am to enjoy some private sunshine. I would come back in a heartbeat!

Best place to stay in Porto

In over 20 years of renting properties in many countries, this was probably the best rental experience I’ve ever had. The location is perfect. It is close enough to walk to major attractions but far enough to be quiet at night. The rooms are comfortable, the decor gorgeous, the bathrooms beautiful and well functioning. Everyone reported comfortable beds. The patio, living room and dining areas are all quite useable for as group. The details are fantastic: slippers for the tile floors, breakfast supplies… the owner is a lovely person and so helpful. Really an exceptional experience.

Friends trip to Porto

Check in was very convenient, the property owner went out of his way to make sure that we could check in when it worked for us. The rooms were all very comfortable. A small note would be that the 5th 3rd floor bedroom is not as private as the others, a large curtain closes it off. The main floor kitchen, living room and patio were great areas too. We would easily come back to this property, great location and very comfortable place to stay.

La mejor experiencia en casas de vacaciones

No puedo expresar la gratitud con Fernando, el dueño: la casa es espectacular, a falta de un calificativo mejor: de lujo, bien decorada, acogedora, moderna... me faltan adjetivos y el trato de Fernando va mucho más allá de lo que se podría pedir: un anfitrión con mayúsculas, amable y generoso. Lo tenemos claro, cuando volvamos a Porto, volveremos a la casa de Fernando.

This home looks even more beautiful in person than online. Beautifully designed and decorated, it had everything our family of 8 needed for our stay in Porto. Walking distance (15-20 minutes) to the center of town and all the major sights in Porto. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine and croissants.

Wonderful home and a great host.

The home is a great place to stay to see Porto. Fernando is a wonderful host. Warm, welcoming and very attentive.

Exceeded all of our expectations

This listing lived up to everything it claimed. Beautiful home, welcoming feeling. Host left enough food and groceries for us to start our day (croissants, fruits, juice, milk etc). We had plenty of towels, soaps, etc to satisfy our party of 7 and rooms where excellent in size. The location was excellent in a lovely neighborhood it also allowed us to park directly in front of the house. I highly recommend this unit.
