"I had an excellent stay at the Sligachan Hotel. The hotel is steps away from breathtaking scenery for walking or hiking and a quick bus/car ride to Portree for shopping and dinner. Martin, the manager, was so helpful and kind. He drove my friend and I from Portree to our train because the bus schedule that day was not aligning well with our train schedule and morning activities. He also gave us great tips on the best things to do on the Isle of Skye and made sure that all of the guests were enjoying their stay. The breakfast was high quality - I loved the smoked salmon and eggs and the fresh fruits and yogurts. The receptionists were always friendly and helpful whenever we had any questions. I would recommend the Sligachan hotel to anyone who wants a comfortable stay right near the Cuillian Mountains and a quick commute to Portree."

"Great stay at Atholl House! The room was comfortable and relaxing. Breakfast was lovely -delicious and many options. We had dinner the first night and it was great. Great service and attention to detail."

"The Caravan is in a good location, in an easy walk to town. Yes, it has a view of the driveway, as in the photos, but you can also see the bay and mountains beyond. The heating is excellent, the beds are comfy and we felt very good here. The kitchen is reasonably well-equiped and is a bonus, as there are few good restaurant options near by. (Do drive up to Pizza in the Skye near Portree; a truck but outstanding pizza). Ideal for two, perhaps four would be a bit of a squeeze. It is an old caravan, maybe 50 years, so it is definitely 'of it's time' as should be expected. James was a really good host; friendly and available if necessary. He helped us with an item left behind, which we really appreciated. "
