"Fantastic setting to explore Cornwall. Lovely food served in restaurant in evenings. Reviews of uncomfortable beds were not bourne out and was very comfortable. Only thing that lets it down is the breakfast in the B&B. For 2 days out of 3 continental breakfast in room not restocked, including milk so couldnt even have hot drink. Rather to have a reduced rate for bed only than promise something not delivered"

"We had a great 3 day stay at the Farmers Arms. The staff were very friendly and provided us with a fantastic breakfast everyday. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, there were tea and coffee making facilities which were replenished every day. St Merryn is a beautiful village with Harlyn and Constantine being some of the best beaches in the country in my opinion. We will definitely be heading back soon."

"If what you are looking for is a boring, soulless establishment where every room is the same, like you get in a Holiday Inn, Travelodge or Premier Inn then this is not for you. What you do get is a personal service from a friendly couple who know their stuff and make you very welcome. This is a 350 year old cottage where every room is different but nonetheless exceptionally clean and comfortable. Plus the breakfasts are excellent and cater for all tastes, even non carnivores."

"Friendly pub owner and operators, as well as local crowd made the experience enjoyable. Room was clean and contained necessities. Nothing fancy, and could do with a little updating, but all was fine. I didn't order food, but the owner offered to make a sandwich, even though it was after serving hours. I think listing said there was parking on site. It's actually street parking, which isn't guaranteed. "

"Roz and Keith are wonderful hosts. They even gave me change for the launderette! This location siuted me perfectly as I was using public transportation. For me the bed was pretty soft but that is definitely a personal preference. This is a great place to travel from or just use the many beaches."

"Outstanding, 5 stars from us! The room was very accommodating, spotless, and well decorated with fresh coffee / Cafetier and tea selections. Rob and Natalia are the greatest of hosts! On the run upto arrival was asked what we would like with our breakfast to which I mentioned my fiancé and I keep it simple due to dietary requirements (gluten) but Rob catered to them with gluten free bread and sausages. The property has been tastefully decorated and a stones throw away to many key tourist hot...

"Sarah, the owner, gave fantastic service and made great efforts to ensure we enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect for Lusty Glaze beach (or Newquay beach/town centre), the breakfast was reasonably priced as an extra, and parking was free. The room was basic and a little tired, but given the positives it was good value for money. Wouldn’t have stayed if planning to spend lots of time in the room, but was a great base to explore."

"Perfect Location, just minutes walk to the beach and nice play park for the kids. Close to plenty of places to eat. Beach is beautiful. Views from the house is stunning. The cooker, decking and downstairs ensuite shower need some tlc but that didn’t effect usage or us having a fantastic time. Will definitely be coming back!"
