"Good apartment in a perfect location (Moinhos Park right in front and plenty of restaurants and shops around) but it has a few problems. Water started leaking from inside a light switch and formed a puddle on the floor. The puddle kept growing and I was moved to another apartment, which was a inconvenience. They don't provide any dishes, pots or cutlery. What's the point of having a full kitchen without any utensils? Parking and breakfast are not free."

We were in Porto Alegre only the two nights we stayed at this hotel so it is difficult to comment on because we have nothing to compare to. That said, it is close to the few cultural attractions listed in guide books and the web. It is on the main pedestrian street in the old city and near the wet market. Little if any English spoken by staff. Breakfast the usual fare for a brasilian hotel in this category. Room was large....
