I liked the people at the desk. Everyone was pleasant. I would have liked the trash to be taken out on the days we were there. A little slow on providing towels. Overall it was a nice stay. Jan, at the desk was especially efficient and helpful.

What we liked, it was easy access to the highway. The room presentation was clean & had full amenities. The breakfast was acceptable, the coffee was lousy. The water pressure was good in the shower. What we didn't like. We were standing in ankle deep soapy water in the shower. We left our recommendations in the room and at the desk. Room 106

Kind staff but felt dirty

The hotel was rather cheap so I wasn't expecting the world however the lobby and hallways have a strong smell of mildew and mold, our room kinda had the smell as well but with the ac on it kind of masked it. The room was pretty clean (besides a stain on one of the bedside lamp shades) but the bathroom felt a little bit dirty. The corners in the bathroom looked like they needed attention as well as the shower being very stained. The staff was great and very kind, breakfast was good as well, if it wasn't for the smell or the bathroom it would have been 4 stars across the board.

My room was clean and looked recently refurbished. Comfy bed and pillows. Microwave and refrigerator was clean. Bathroom was fully stocked with towels and toiletries. Would stay again.

Staff was always available and very helpful. Housekeeping came around several times during our stay. Close to train station for a quick trip into Chicago and close to Indiana Dunes National Park. Several breakfast options including biscuits & gravy and waffles even though I usually just have coffee in am. Would stay again if in area.

Great location off of the highway, there was always police presence in the area but it never felt needed. The hotel front lobby and rooms are nice and the front desk staff was very friendly. Great location if you’re coming in for a quick trip to the dunes since it’s only 15 min away and the highway to head back to Chicago is down the street. Highly recommend.
