"Pros: Hotel Moon and Sun is in an excellent position for exploring everything that Porto has to offer. Nothing, other than Gaia, is more than about a 10-minute walk away. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly, and the hotel is a great b&b. Unlike most hotels, a free "afternoon" tea is available all afternoon and into the evening. Breakfast is adequate and average. The rooms are good, some better than others at the same grade but that is usual. Check-out is a leisurely noon, which means, unless you have an early flight, you can have a no-rush breakfast. You also get a couple of "treats" which I won't mention in order not to spoil the surprise but they are a very nice appreciative touch.
Cons: Only one, really. Uber drivers find it very difficult to find, as the hotel is located on a very, insignificant small road. The driver from the airport dropped me off at the wrong hotel (but only a few meters away) and when booking the return trip, I couldn't get picked up from the hotel and had to walk to a more central location. The hotel does offer airport transfers, in fairness, but these are more than double the Uber/Bolt taxi fare.
Would I stay there again? Most definitely."
