Lagoon Gardens

"I stayed here for one week, and really loved my experience! The place has a really homey feel and is surrounded by pretty tropical walkways with flowers. Next door there is a large supermarket and small Chinese takeout. There is also a bus stop which you can easily catch a local bus to town or anywhere nearby! The breakfast was definitely a highlight! Pancakes, toast, tea, coffee and a selection of spreads and fruits while overlooking the beautiful lagoon! The owners and staff are all lovely and friendly, and there is a cute dog called Rocky who comes up for pats 😊 The only thing is that the place is far from any beaches and alot of food options, but it is easy to catch a bus. Thankyou for the stay 🙂"

"Loved our stay at Iririki Resort, beautiful setting, accommodations were comfortable and property was well kept. Staff were wonderful and worked hard to ensure we had all we needed and always smiled and extremely helpful. Highly recommend and would love to return for a visit someday... Thank you for a memorable week - food was excellent with multiple choices and a varied menu. Would only ask if at all possible to have more chaise lounges around the infinity pool - it was impossible to snag one during our stay as they were always occupied and not enough."

"Room was exactly as advertised. Our oceanfront room was spacious and clean. The balcony was large and had amazing views. The cleaning staff were friendly and kind. The restaurants on site did great food and easily catered for our dairy allergy. The pool was cold, but the seawater was lovely. Front desk staff weren't super helpful with giving us info on snorkelling spots and how to get there. Front desk staff did sort us out with horseriding which was great. I would stay here again."

"Excellent hotel. Excellent location. Excellent service. However, it is expensive. Buffet was pricey. Breakfast was pricey. Dinner was pricey. Rooms were pricey."
The Melanesian Port Vila Hotel

"Arranging airport transfers via Expedia’s messaging portal was a failure. Hotel quoted a price via the portal that I confirmed, but no one showed up at the airport. Had to pay much more for a taxi. Hotel staff didn’t have an explanation as to why the transfer wasn’t scheduled. At check in I requested a return transfer be scheduled on my departure day. They took my flight info and said to just confirm it the day before. When I went the day before to confirm they had no record of my request. The rooms are comfortable. Soap and shampoo supplied. Had a full kitchen but didn’t use it. The pools look well kept with plenty of seats but some of the walkways going to the rooms are in need of repair. Overall location is good. A short 10-15 minute walk to downtown waterfront restaurants and public market. They have an on-site Italian restaurant, Casa Mia. Waitress said I could sit anywhere but after doing so and getting comfortable, napkin on my lap, was then asked if I could move to a different table. They shouldn’t tell someone they can sit anywhere if they don’t mean it. That said, the food was delicious."

"The property was amazing has everything that we needed the fine dinning the bar the casino and was close to everything just a walking distance only down fall was that people was smoking inside the casino it was a shocking for us cause in Brisbane no one allow to smoke inside the games area only outside at a smoke area Otherwise we had the best time Thank you Grand Cadion for your awesome service"

"The staff and location was excellent especially being next door to big market. Our big objection was with the design of the room. It has a totally open wall between the bedroom and bathroom and that’s not always a pleasant circumstance."
