Exquisite, beautiful new 4BR/4.5BA home professionally decorated and comfortably furnished. No details spared!!! This home includes everything you need for a wonderful relaxing vacation with no worries! 2 separate living areas, one on the main level, and one off of the bedroom level perfect for large families or for the children to enjoy the additional TV and the table is a great place to play cards or games. Other perks to this fine home are an elevator, a fully equipped chef’s kitchen, covered parking area with an enclosed heated and cooled outdoor shower, fish cleaning area and a painted hop scotch court.  

It’s just a short walk to the beach and beach driving access point. Enjoy the quiet undisturbed beaches filled with the best examples of Florida’s flora & fauna. Don’t be surprised to see dolphins frolicking in the pristine Gulf waters or a group of blue crabs on their annual run. Possibly one of the nicest homes in the area! 

Floor Plan: Ground level-covered, paved parking with enclosed hot/cold outdoor shower and fish cleaning area. 1st Level-living area with gaming table, TV, DVD player and it opens onto a furnished deck with a minimal gulf view. There’s also a brightly colored full bath with double vanities and a stand up shower; Bedroom 1-queen bed and TV; full size laundry room; Bedroom 2-king bed, access to deck, TV and full bath with double vanities and shower/tub combo; and Bedroom 3-king bed, TV and full bath with shower/tub combo. 2nd Level-Main living room with large TV, DVD player, gas fireplace and access to a screened, furnished deck with great gulf views; dining area, large gourmet kitchen with marble countertops, stainless appliances, gas stovetop, custom cabinets and small TV; bath and Bedroom 4-gulf view bedroom with tray ceiling, king bed, access to screened deck, TV, large closet, and full bath with double vanities, stand up shower and separate garden tub.

Wonderful Family Vacay

We had a wonderful time! Sammy's Old Place was a perfect house for our group, and the elevator made it very easy to get groceries and luggage up to the multiple levels. The kitchen was well stocked and spacious ... our only complaint would be small pantry space, but we definitely made do! We loved playing games at the kitchen table in the evenings! Pristine Properties was very attentive quick to respond with any questions or requests. It is a beautiful house, and we would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful getaway

My family and I enjoy our stay at Sammy’s Old Place. Everything was as expected in the listing. The check in/check out process was seamless. The view of the beach was great! We love visiting Port St. Joe and staying near the beach. The property was well maintained and offered a relaxing atmosphere for our Spring Break getaway. Even with staying during a pandemic, we felt safe. I do think for the cleaning fee charged, the cleaners could do a better job in some areas. We did bring our own cleaning supplies to use. Overall, we plan to rent Sammy’s old place again.

Sammy's Old Place has seen better times!

Sammy's Old Place looks wonderful online. It is a beautiful home, but has seen better days. The furniture in the upper living room is horribly soiled. The master bedroom carpet was fresh and clean, however the styrofoam and vinyl squares used to keep the furniture legs off the wet carpet still in place. The master shower drain had hair in it. There were at least 6 light bulbs out on the second floor alone, master bedroom and bath, main living room and kitchen. Could not get the tv remote to work to change channels. I believe the batteries were dead. We were able to use the bedroom's remote to operate the living room tv. The sliding glass door, by the dining room, outside handle had completely fallen off. The upper screened porch was missing half of its screens. The coffee maker did not work. The wood floors are in need of repair, chunks of wood missing and badly scuffed. The dishwasher latch is missing it's knob. Was hard to figure out what to do to start wash, as it was undetectable without a knob. The clothes washing machine leaks, or I believe so. After using it, the floor was wet. There was no outdoor trash receptacle to place trash in. As you arrive, the front yard looks as if no one has been there in months. It was full of trash and palm fronds strewn all over. There was a used baby diaper in the front of the outdoor shower. Nice surprise to find that there was a beach cart with umbrella and two beach chairs. Once on beach, we discovered the umbrella has a rubber band around it to keep it up and one of the beach chairs is completely broken. This property looks so nice from the pictures, it is not. Needs to have some attention by the property owner/manager.

Great girls trip!

Great location for those who just want to relax on the beach and be away from a lot of people. This was a girls trip, there was 10 of us and we had a fabulous. Other than giving a little more care to the cleanliness of the house (dusting, cleaning hair from bathrooms, and shampooing/cleaning of fabric furniture), the stay was totally awesome!
