Spring 2026 Rate Drop! Gulf View 2br/2ba , Short Walk To Beach!

RECENTLY UPDATED! Conched Out is a 2BR / 2BA gulf view town home located in exclusive Barrier Dunes.

Recently updated - kitchen and bath remodel! This comfortably decorated town home has everything you need to enjoy your vacation. Enjoy gulf views from the living area which area has two sofas (one is a sleeper), 49" Smart TV, dining area (seating for 4 / seating at bar for 4). The open deck has seating for 4 with umbrella, gas grill and a gate. Just walk down the steps to the boardwalk and you're less than a minute to the beach!!

Located on the first level, the well stocked kitchen has everything you need including an air fryer, crock pot, blender and bake ware. There is also a full bathroom on this level including the 2nd bedroom. The second bedroom has a queen bed, private balcony that overlooks the tennis/pickelball courts.

The primary level is spacious and has an excellent gulf view. The open deck has two lounge chairs to enjoy the view! There is a king bed, chair and a half that opens to a twin bed, 32" Smart TV, full size dresser and chair. There is a double vanity, large walk in closet and full size laundry too. The primary bath has a garden tub/shower combination.

All linens are provided.

There is a start up supply of toilet paper, dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent and hand soap for your convenience.

In the carport area there is an enclosed shower and an outside closet with beach chairs (4) for your convenience.

Conched Out is the perfect getaway!

50% of balance due is due at booking and the remaining balance is due 60 days prior to check-in.
All reservations require sending in a copy of your government issued ID for age verification purposes.

Good Find

We enjoyed our stay and have no major complaints. Microwave over the stove does not work but there is one on the countertop, kitchen utensils, pots and pans very disorganized you just have to look around to find what you want, one burner on the stove does not work... again just little stuff. Close to the beach, nice view, two pools, tennis courts, well maintained gated complex. Beach very nice.

Great little place. Excellent view!

Could have been a little more clear in paperwork as to where stuff is located. Chairs, etc. Of all those chairs in the carport closet, ALL were broken and unusable, as far as I could tell, except 2. Crew needs to do a better job of checking light bulbs. Every single lamp bulb was burned out when I got there. Stephani was great. Quick acting on any issue I had. Otherwise, awesome stay! Thank you. A little Vitamin Sea was exactly what I needed before starting chemo.

Great beach and location

Best beach I've been too. It was just a short walk to the sand. After a few days of recent weather that stirred up the water, the last couple of days were perfect, water was calmer and clear. Beach was packed every day so better get your spot early. House was clean besides some dust under items. W/D worked great. Wifi was plenty fast. Plenty of towels. Make sure you get your gate and door code before you arrive. Cellular signal was poor on the beach however looks like a cell tower is being built nearby and that issue should be resolved soon. Negatives were the A/C couldn't keep up with the afternoon/evening sun beating down on the house, passed it along to the managers but didn't hear back from them. Temps got up to 74-75 degrees and it was hotter upstairs. Had to keep blinds closed in the afternoon to keep it cooler and fans on. The trash collection bin was under the A/C unit, had to call to find that out. The water hose to rinse off after the beach was in front of the carport instead of the rear like most other units had. The other thing you need to plan out is eating, very limited places to eat out nearby and they were packed and long waits. So either drive a long way 30+ mins (Port St. Joe) to eat out or cook yourself. FYI there is a Dollar General Market on the right just passed the Piggly Wiggly in Port St. Joe, prices were better on most items.

Absolutely Perfect

The home was beautiful and has a perfect location. Before our arrival, the owner let us know that water had been out in the area; it was back on when we arrived. Communication, check in and check out were simple. Thinking about booking the same place for next year!

WASH ME

The place was awesome!!! The location and layout was beautiful. But, most everything was filthy. We had to wash all dishes before use, the table and counter tops were sticky, stove was gross, patio furniture was covered in black mold, linens were dusty. Worst though was having to kill roaches every day.

Nice getaway in a quiet place

Had a wonderful, relaxing week on the beach. Condo was clean and comfortable, with a view of the Gulf and a VERY short walk to the beach. We had a great week hanging out at the beach. Our biggest issue was that the clothes dryer really needed to be replaced.

Good stay

This location is an awesome view of the beach, one of the pools, and the tennis court! The neighbors were friendly and quiet. I would 100% rent this same unit again but I would like to see some updates inside the home. Everything was usable but could be in better condition.

Fabulous Vacation

We had a wonderful time at this property. There were little things that were not in good repair, but overall it was good. Super close to the beach and a good view. If you have small children there are two open stairwells inside the unit. There was one tiny baby gate available, but it was half broken and would not have stopped a child. We had teens so it was great for us though. The only thing I didn't like about it was the master bedroom had no door. You went to the top of the stairs and you were in the room. It was a beautiful, spacious room, but I would have liked a door to close. We would absolutely stay there again.

Nice Getaway, Perfect Location

We had a great time on our “mini get away” without our kiddos. The unit was very clean and the neighbors were all very welcoming. We loved the easy access to the beach and two pools. This is definitely a “perfect” spot amongst the other unit - not to mention the views were amazing! Thanks for letting us stay at your property and experiencing a little “normal” during the global pandemic.

Wonderful vacation home

We had a great time at this property. I would highly recommend. Wonderful view of the ocean and sunset and a very short walk to the water. My husband and I, as well as our young children and dog were very comfortable. Zero issues. This was a perfect vacation!

Good

This property was just fine for our family. There is nothing fancy about this place. It’s older and needs some repairs. The back door to the deck is broken and won’t lock. The gate from the deck down to the stairs was difficult to open. We traveled with children so it was concerning to us but adults may not be bothered with those issues. No carpet so that was a plus. The kitchen had everything we needed. The walk was a minute to the beach which was wonderful-especially with children. Beds were comfortable but the unit could use a new sofa. Washer works well but the dryer needs an upgrade. It takes a couple of runs in the dryer for anything to get completely dry. The owners were super quick to answer any questions and return messages! Overall, we enjoyed our stay.
