Start your mornings with a peaceful stroll to the shoreline to hear the waves roll in and feel the soft sand beneath your feet. Spend the day soaking up the sun, searching for shells, swimming, or simply unwinding on the quiet beaches of the Forgotten Coast. In the evenings, head back out to catch one of our unforgettable Gulf sunsets—you can even build a small beach fire and roast hot dogs or s’mores while you watch the sky glow.

The Crabby Paddy was beyond perfect! One of the best places we have stayed and Eve was the perfect host. She has all the little details covered. As big coffee fans, the coffee bar she has set up was our favorite! The master king size bed was very comfortable. The condo location was perfectly situated near one of the pools and just a short stroll to the beach access and the beach pool. The outdoor shower and garage closet were a plus to rinse off after a day at the beach. We have no complaints! Great stay!
Umbrellas and beach tote were an unexpected plus!

Davenport Vacation

Amazing stay!

The property was everything we could have hoped for and more! Eve was easy to reach and responded immediately when we had a question. There were even board games for us to play when we had a rainy day and couldnt go to the beach. During our stay, there wasnt a single thing we found ourselves needing that wasnt already there! Overall, I have absolutely no complaints and highly recommend this beautiful condo for anyone looking to take a relaxing vacation! We will definitely be back!

Visiting the Cape

We were just on the Cape for a few days of fishing. The accommodations could not have been cleaner nor could the host have been more helpful. I’ve stayed a the Barrier Dunes many times and this property rates at the top.

Great location & House

We will be back! The townhome had EVERYTHING you could ever need! We had gone shopping before arriving and we didn't need to buy anything such as trash bags, paper towels, soap, dishwashing pods, etc. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Best place we've ever rented for a beach vacation! The house is exceptionally clean and well organized, has everything you need for a comfortable stay, is beautifully decorated, and is very cozy. This property was the best experience I've had to date with vrbo. The owner made every possible effort to supply everything we might need, and then some. The only thing that could be improved was the cleanliness of the glassware. And that could be improved by having the housekeeping team check that guests clean up after themselves better.

Exceptionally clean. We really enjoyed the coffee bar. Short walk to beach. Very quiet community… we took walks every night w kids. Eve was very accommodating and I always make sure to rent from an actual owner vs a big company because communication is so much easier. Will def look here first to rent if we come back to this area and hope it’s available! Thanks again

My new home away from home

The BEST unit in Barrier Dunes. Clean, fresh, and well appointed you could swear you're staying in your own house. There is nothing to lack for when you show up. The owner's directions and communications are spot on and very detailed leaving nothing to question. Bottom line if you want a great place to stay this unit is for you. I really appreciate the effort that Eve has put into this property to make it the best!

The property was accurately described. It was very clean. We enjoyed the pickleball courts which were in close proximity to the townhouse. A short walk to the beach. Eve was hospitable and more than willing to assist in any manner. Checked in with us via email to make sure all was okay. Thankfully, nothing went wrong during our stay.

Clean, comfortable and cozy

This unit offered all the comforts of home, so many small touches that made a big difference — large hooks around the house for hanging towels, a well-equipped kitchen with lots of utensils for cooking, and beach chairs, umbrella and a wagon made the 5 minute walk to the beach fast (there are stairs to get over the dunes, but overall the wagon saved us from multiple hauls to the beach!) The host was super responsive when we had a question, and the home was impeccably clean and comfortable. It is located in a great condo community that was quiet yet active. The pool and pickleball courts are very close, which were kept immaculate too. The beach access was easy to find/get to, and the beach is very family friendly (making it more densely populated). We felt right at home and would definitely come back to stay here when visiting the Cape again!

Comfortable and Organized: Value!

Our stay at Crabby Paddy was lovely. The community is pleasant and the gulf water is pristine. Although we kept the thermostats around 76, the upstairs living quarters had a hard time keeping cool . However, considering the extreme heat advisories in the area, we assumed all air conditioning systems were taxed . The assortment of iced teas were much needed and appreciated. Also, the coffee bar is super cute however I think the cleaning staff might need to change the options as most had recently expired. Overall, the unit is pristine, nicely decorated, and the beds sleep beautifully. Hopefully next time we can have access to the upstairs bathtub, however the hot water in the bathtub downstairs did the trick healing from an unfortunate sting by an ocean critter. We loved Eve’s thoughtful snacks , notes, and commitment to cleanliness and organizational design. She clearly has high standards and we respected her commitment to our comfort and will be back soon. If you choose to stay here, treat the home as if it is your own, as she clearly loves this property.
