We manage remotely, but are available by phone, email or text. If there's an emergency our turnover team is in the area and can be available.

St Joe’s Beach is a lovely community of beach homes and cottages located in an area of the Forgotten Coast. It’s quite laid back and friendly and you will see lots of people walking or golf-carting to the beach because there are multiple access points.

Walk to the beach and enjoy all that it has to offer. You are also just minutes from great restaurants like The View and Shipwreck. Charter a boat, explore the state parks, or take a drive to the Cape!


Guests will have access to the entire house, with the exception of 2 outdoor sheds. There is ample parking for cars as well as a boat or RV.

There is also a free golf cart guests may use.


Manatees Rest is where coastal charm meets modern comfort. Inside our home, you will find 3 cozy bedrooms, with 1 king-sized bed, 1 queen-sized bed, and 1 bunk bed. The home has 2 full bathrooms complete with complimentary toiletries.

The large kitchen and dining area offer plenty of space for preparing a delicious meal and are fully stocked for your convenience. There is also a BBQ grill outside for use. Relax in our super comfy living room or in the screened porch with plenty of seating.

Enjoy the outside space! With a large deck, ample seating, an outdoor shower, a fire pit, and plenty of games, we’re sure you’ll spend lots of time in the yard! We hope you have as much fun playing the outdoor games as we do! Beach essentials like chairs and towels are provided, as well as dog supplies.

Need to get some work done or do a wash during your stay? No problem - we have lots of space in the common areas for setting up a laptop, and a washer/dryer can be found in the home as well.


There is free parking onsite. Guests can easily walk to the beach. Our golf cart is available to use with a signed waiver, however, please note that golf carts are NOT allowed to cross Hwy 98. All homes in the first block have a 20 ft easement that allows people to park golf carts along grass lines and then walk across the street to the beach. All beach areas are public except for the area around a home on the ocean side.

*Please be sure to read over our house rules before booking.

*Our golf cart is available to use with a signed waiver. Please note that golf carts are NOT allowed to cross Hwy 98. Please let owner know when you have signed the waiver found on our website. We will then give code to keys to golf cart.

*Our pet fee is $150 for up to 3 pets.

*Our home is fully fenced in which works great for pets. We offer dog shampoo and dog towels so that guests can rinse dogs in the outdoor shower after a day at the beach. Our pet guests also get a dog bed and dog couch cover so that they can take an awesome nap after playing all day.

*VRBO and direct booking cancelations will incur credit card fees of 4% of total booking.
