  • We invite you to book our newest bay view home and start living on “Cape Thyme”. This beautiful home is steps from St. Joseph’s Bay and a short walk to the Gulf. This home is located in a wonderful, gated community that offers a bay side and beach side pool access. Challenge your family to a quick game of tennis or enjoy a quick workout in the community gym.

    After a fun day at the beach come home to this gorgeous property and enjoy all the listed amenities! Cape Thyme is an 1800 sq ft home that offers 4 bedrooms with 4.5 bathrooms and can comfortably accommodate up to 8 guests. The main level is perfect for taking in our gorgeous bay views while enjoying dinner in the spacious dining area. Relax in the evening on one of the homes 4 outdoor living areas with your favorite book or beverage!

    You will find everything you need for a fun week in the sun at this fully stocked home. Come enjoy the best the Cape and Bay has to offer!

It was nice to have 4 bedrooms, 5 toilets. Everyone was happy including the 3 teen boys.

Can't say enough good things about this pristine property! It was perfect for our family of 8. A nice surprise was extra beach towels and beach chairs for guest use. The sectional in the living room fit all of us and the kitchen has everything you need to make a meal. We love the location because of the amenities- pickleball and 2 pools! You won't be disappointed!

Great home and location!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cape Thyme! The home was beautiful and spacious. The layout was perfect for our family. We really loved having the screened porch to enjoy morning coffee. The location of Cape Thyme was perfect! We could easily walk to the bay, the pool, the beach, and even a local restaurant! We would definitely recommend this lovely beach retreat!

Cape Thyme

This was the perfect vacation spot! It was beautiful, quiet and it had a great pool to enjoy. It was only a short walk to the beach which had a swing where we spent a lot of time just enjoying the view. This is the first time I've ever been on vacation for a week and didnt want to go home after day 3. We will go back again.

Cozy, comfy, and clean- great location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We’ve been going to the Cape for several years, and this home is definitely in our top 2 for places we’ve stayed. First, the house was bright and clean. The rooms were all spacious with the perfect amount of space for our family. The open floor plan upstairs was perfect w/ lots of seating. The 3 balconies were a favorite. My husband and I ate a couple of meals on the main deck that overlooks the beautiful, serene bay. Our pups LOVED the cool tile floor after playing in the sun. :). Three of the bathrooms had nice, large, showers. The other had a tub option which was perfect for our kiddos. Our two littles shared the room with 2 beds while the teenagers got their own room and bathroom (all downstairs). The icing on the cake was the abundance of amenities provided. I cannot stress enough how having full bottles of shampoo and conditioner in each bathroom, ample toilet paper rolls per bathroom for the entire stay, plenty of paper towels, dish liquid for the whole week, laundry detergent for the whole week, plenty of garbage bags to cover the entire week, full-sized bar soaps for each bathroom added to our experience. We always end up making a couple of trips because we run out of what we bring or we forget something. All of these items were perfect and saved us a couple of trips to the store. The infinity pool was a fave for our kiddos. My husband and I enjoyed paddling around the bay on the SUP board that we rented with the $250 credit to VayKLife. We were able to hand carry the board across the lawn and hop straight in the water. It was perfect! The first night, we walked out on the dock and were able to witness the bioluminescent effect happening in the water. Such a cool thing to see. We will absolutely seek out this home on our next stay. If it’s not available? We will check out other Be Our Guest homes as we were so pleased with our experience with this company. Can’t say enough good things about this rental and the

Great home with lots of amenities

The property is great- just as described. Everything was clean and comfortable . Our favorite house feature was the screened in porch where we had coffee every day looking out onto the bay. We have kids ranging from 11-23 years old so everyone’s wants are all over the place but this house/neighborhood has something for everyone. We used the tennis courts, workout room (okay, some of us did), the bay side infinity pool and hot tub, the pier to fish and the bay to kayak and paddle board. Oh, and we rented bikes with the VayK Gear and peddled to lunch a couple times. Of course the ocean is just across the street. The beach is thinner and therefore more “crowded “ than we remember it from years ago when we were last here. We used the public access to the beach (instead of entering the through the Ovation gated access) because the public beach access is just as convenient and is easier without steps for a wagon that we pulled. We had a few pretty minor questions about the house once we were there, and Donna answered us immediately. If you are new to Cape San Blas and looking to get out of the crowds, yet still have opportunities to do other things than just beach, you’ll love it here.

Awesome kitchen with everything you could ever need. Love all the porches off of the bedrooms and living room. Plenty of space to spread out and have privacy from the group if wanted. Super close to an amazing beach with the softest whitest sand. The infinity pool is super nice and much bigger than it seems. Hot tub was great as well. Truly loved our stay and really hoping to come back. Donna is amazing and went above and beyond care of us! Highly recommend !!!

Wonderful home!!

We absolutely love this home. The fact that each bedroom had its own bathroom was a plus. The location near the pool and the ocean was perfect. We enjoyed the tennis courts and pickle ball courts. The pool area was well-kept and beautiful.
