But the on-duty manager Carlyn is a gem! I've worked in the customer service, hospitality and travel industries and Carlyn checks all the boxes. Her outstanding friendliness is matched only by her informative & thorough check-in. She gives the guest a aense of value and makes the blah town of Whitby a place you want to visit (as does Jason at the bar in Milestones, but I digress). Excellent stay! "
