"I was on a family reunion when I stayed at Kapok the breakfast is exceptional! Very friendly and helpful staff it feels safe and like a little hideaway although its situated close to the busy highway. I had an awesome view of the savannah and Port of Spain area so beautiful especially the early morning view! Definitely will stay here again whether it's for business or pleasure! "

"Rooms were spacious, comfortable and very clean. We LOVED looking out at the ocean from our picture window. The breakfast buffet was delightful. The staff was always available and quite helpful - they really made a difference."

"Pros: The staff is friendly, if you drive or have transportation, this is about 10mins away from the avenue and downtown areas. There's a pool, it looks nice (I didn't get in as it was not an interest). Bedding and room was clean. Everything looked like the pics. Area is quiet and residenial. Cons: Area may be unsafe (but that's Trinidad). Nothing happened while I was there but don't go walking around and jogging past 5PM, that goes for the entire country. "
