"We stayed at this same hotel a few days earlier before taking the ferry to Newfoundland. We chose to stay again on the return trip due to its' convenient location near the ferry terminal. The room was slightly different and included a small counter with a sink, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, etc. The room was spacious, with two queen beds and the bathroom was a good size, with a tub/shower combo and lots of towels and face cloths. "The property is old and dated but the room was great! We had a very comfortable sleep for 2 nights in a king bed! The property is far from downtown so walking was not an option but for the price, it was worth it. It looks dodgy from the outside but the room was just what we needed. It’s not the ritz, but is great for the price point and a family on a budget trying to see this part of Nova Scotia."

"Nice location- rooms are very nice as well. Staff is friendly. Only downside is a sub-par coffee station and pay only breakfast. Pay to park is absurd. That needs to be removed."

"Peu de choses intéressantes sauf le repas du soir qui était vorrrct avec un service agréable. L’entretien fait grandement défaut, on ne cache pas une réparation avec un cadre. Le bain était salle, les joint des tuiles étaient noirs par la salkete. Le corridor extérieur extérieur manquait significativement de peinture. Le déjeuner offert était inmengeable, nous sommes sllés chez Tim Horton.. Cette place n’est pas digne de la chaîne Best Western. Nôtre recommendation sera d’éviter cette place."
