Port Isabel never changes. Slow pace, so don't get in a hurry. The last time I was here was over 30yrs ago, the place looks the same except a few more shopping centers.

"Room was okay. A little outdated. AC worked great. Bed was not so comfortable. Refrigerator had a bad smell. Basic living quarters but we didn't plan on spending our time in the room anyway. Great location for accessing the beach. A short walk. 3 pools on property. Overall, we would stay here again ..."

Port Isabel is a beautiful little bay town with some of the best Mexican restaurants in the state. Pirates Landing is awesome and we loved the pirate ship. The whole lighthouse square is great for a walk. Kid’s loved Davey Jones Ice Cream Locker.
