Port Isabel never changes. Slow pace, so don't get in a hurry. The last time I was here was over 30yrs ago, the place looks the same except a few more shopping centers.

"Property did not look like much on the outside but once inside, the room, grounds, pools and ocean front areas were fantastic. Port Isabel is a beautiful little bay town with some of the best Mexican restaurants in the state. Pirates Landing is awesome and we loved the pirate ship. The whole lighthouse square is great for a walk. Kid’s loved Davey Jones Ice Cream Locker.
