"We came here to celebrate our anniversary and found it very peaceful and serene! The rocks on the shoreline are unlike the rocks I’ve seen before in Lake Michigan, and it was fascinating to look through them! The lighthouse museum is walking distance away from the quaint little cabin. And we visited the nearby Port Austin to make the 7 mile round trip kayak trip to Turnip Island, where my boyfriend proposed to meA few things in the cabin (toilet paper roll, curtains and curtain rods, etc.) were outdated and should be replaced with something sturdier. They kept falling down when we attempted to move the curtains and even use toilet paper. But those are very easy things to remediate & minor details in comparison with the benefits to the little cabin. We had internet connection, coffee, salt and pepper, dish soap, and garbage bags were provided. And the beds were comfortable! We used the grill and enjoyed watching the sunset from the lawn chairs and the sunrise from the screened in porch. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again!"

"This was our second time staying at the property and it was once again AMAZING! The host is very gracious and allowed us to check in early. The beach is DIRECTLY out the dual sliding glass doors. Easy access to the beach. Had special items for our dogs. The bedrooms, the kitchen, the living room, and bathrooms - all stunning. Well maintained. "

"The cabin is right on Lake Huron which was absolutely gorgeous. Sitting outside watching the ships was very cool. Listening to the waves is very relaxing. The bed was very comfortable so we slept really good. Looking forward to coming there again "
