Ppl were great, everything we needed was there (byob) had a great fire both nights.. property was well kept, 1 chair outside was cracked and it was replaced immediately, would def book here again! "We traveled from AZ to Port Elgin for a funeral and family retreat. So many things had already gone awry, by the time we arrived we were feeling a little defeated. The instructions provided for checking in were spot on and so easy, the home is absolutely gorgeous as well as the spacious property! Mel knew it was our daughter’s birthday and had balloons set up for her, we felt so welcomed and appreciated I got tears in my eyes!! The home is cozy and fit our family of four easily and we could still have our own space (we had been in close confines for quite a bit of time). The games and activities (basketball, ping pong) kept us all entertained and active, the beach is close as well as groceries and really anything you would need. Mel went above and beyond for our family, we have never had a better experience with VRBO. Mel truly is an angel and you can see very quickly that she truly finds joy in being a host!!! All our best Mel, we hope to come stay at your property again in the future"

"This property was great. The staff were amazing, the free extras were lovely, soft drinks, snacks etc. the pool was not very clean. Huge chunks of hair in it, and hair all over the pool deck but I was able to use the net to clean the pool. That was the only downfall."

"We were appalled at the questionnaire sent by globalstay, and being asked to go off site of hotels.com to send an extremely large, unreasonable deposit plus + pay extra money because there were 4 of us staying there. It’s a four bedroom rental, what did they expect, it was a four bedroom rental, of course there were more than two people staying there. We expected more consumer protection going through a company like hotels.com. I felt as though we were being scammed when I was asked to send a picture of me holding my drivers licence. We had issues with temperature control, also a number of outlets were not working for the first two days. There was no one on site to help with issues, and then was asked to take a picture of the electrical panel. "
