We flew there from Southern California and had to drive in your horrible Bay Area traffic for over an hour to reach your establishment. You should change the policy about which spouse's name is on the reservation. I had to call my wife to get verbal permission for you guys, like I was a teenager. How embarrassing!"

"Had to travel to Oakland for a short notice job interview. Booked Jack London Inn due to having a reasonable price and its distance from the job interview site. Hotel's location is convenient to many nearby tourist attractions and restaurants. Alameda island only a 10 minute walk/ferry ride away. Room itself was decent and reservation included breakfast. Check-in was smooth and front desk clerk was kind enough to loan me a pen for my job interview. Next time I'm in Oakland, will definitely hit this place up."
