"We booked here for our annual family vacation and were excited that we could bring our dogs. The house, grounds, and view were exceptional. The recently updated house was very clean & comfortable, and had everything we needed. Pluses:* There are a couple kayaks that were nice to use especially when the wind was offshore and the bay was super calm. * The ping pong table in the garage was fun on a rainy day* There is a nice flat top griddle on the patio that was great for cooking breakfast and smash burgers* Two refrigerators helped store all our groceries * Outside tie-offs and toys for the dogsMinuses:* The beach. The beach fell far short of our expectations. There was thick muck at the shoreline that extended 10-15 feet into the water. There was a dock installed to get over the muck, but when you entered the water at the end, there was shin deep slimy silt on the bottom that extended another 25-30 feet out before clearing. We tried to make the best of it but several of our group refused to go in the water at all. We're beach people so it was very disappointing to rent beach front property and have conditions like this, but everything else was great."

"The room was recently renovated and very clean. The bed and pillows excellent. Nice amenities like a Keurig coffee machine with pods and creamers! Nice mini fridge and freezer & microwave. Plot back but the lake is across the street through a public access."

"We really enjoyed our stay . The only issue we had was that there was a ant problem. Small ants on the kitchen counter and in the bathroom. We had to throw some dough nuts and pastry away because of the ants."

"The unit is small but nice . WiFi never worked well . Needs a new bed - too soft . The deck area was great and fire pit ! Views were incredible especially the sunsets !"

"2nd stay. Brought portable fans which helped with air circulation for bedrooms . Forgot to rave about the beach. Short walk, you will have to trek thru some dune sand, little tricky with the basic wagon. But clean, sandy beach, with extensive sandy, shallow water area. Friendly beach goers."
