Located in the heart of Port Arthur, the Shack is within walking distance of shops, cafes, restaurants, and the historic Port Arthur Site. This is the perfect base to explore the historical site as your ticket allows 2 days of exploring – allow yourself slow mornings and long lazy dinners at The Shack as you spend the majority of the days exploring the riches of the site. The Shack is also a short walk to Stewarts Bay Beach.

If you’re staying longer than 2 days, there’s plenty more to discover in this remote corner of Tassie: hike one of (or all of!) the 3 capes; take a scenic cruise with Pennicott Cruises; explore the many caves and blowholes; visit the nearby lavander farm; or simply relax on the pristine beaches.

Due to the property being contactless self check-in, the booking guest is required to complete an online registration, which will include uploading a copy of their government issued ID (e.g. driver's license or passport). With all adult bookings, the main reservation holder must be over the age of 25 years old.
