"The b and b is more like an air b and b. No meals prepared bu supplies were there for breakfast. The bed was a double and I would have preferred as queen. The bed was quite firm also. E we’re the first guests this spring and the owners were not quite prepared for us. It was a pleasant stay but could have been better"

"My friend (with infant) and I came to the island to visit and soak up some nature. Our stay in Buckley Bay provided beautiful views of the bay, with frequent visits from the seals and otters. The location, while a little ways outside of the main centres, was only a short drive to get to a cafe, nature walks, and restaurants. The house feels very spacious with large bedrooms and ample sitting space to cozy up with a cup of tea or good book."

"We had an amazing stay at Jim’s place, being directly on the beach was wonderful, listening to the waves crashing at our doorstep and watching and listening to the eagles and seals. Jim’s place was immaculately clean with modern decor. The bed was extremely comfortable and we had great sleeps during our time there. "The inside of the house has been completely updated and is very nice. The front deck gets the morning sun and the back deck afternoon sun so it is perfect for enjoying the decks. The location is great for access to local shops and restaurants and the beach. It is on a fairly busy street but that is the trade off for being able to walk to so many places. "Definitely home away from home for us! Everything we needed. Beds/pillows/towels lovely!! We loved the decor and furnishings. A beautiful place to come back to after a day of adventure. Only downside was the rumbling of the machinery while tarmacking. It is a new place and we were warned about construction. It is meticulous and we would love to return in the future.
