The house had everything we needed and the host is so helpful and had a solution to every question, he also adviced us places to eat, things to see and do... "Problems from initial reservation through hotels.com. The owner also has a sub contract with another company that sends contracts that you must abide by. These contracts do not mirror the conditions within hotels.com. I immediately tried to contact the hotel without luck. I contacted hotels.com, provide the sub contracts that I didn't agree to and hotels.com were not able to contact the hotel. "What a shame, the entire region of Pescia is beautiful but everything at this cottage is awful. Its totally bizarre and weird and so so dirty. Honestly i doubt the place has ever been dusted once which is just disgusting. The shower curtain was full of mould.. bugs everywhere it was a literal disaster, not any normal persons idea of a vacation. "Je krijgt niet wat je beloofd. De foto’s kloppen niet. Zit nu voor veel geld in een armoedig onderkomen met boven mij schreeuwende en lawaaierige eigenaren die zelf het dakterras bewonen dat via Belvilla (beschrijving en foto’s) aan mij beloofd was. Na 13.30 uur geen zon meer. Echt onacceptabel voor dit geld. De oplossing die weliswaar werd bedacht na mijn klachten hierover, is ver onder de maat. Ik ga niet meer met Belvilla in zee en na de vakantie schrijf ik een artikel over mijn ervaringen....

"Dit huis ligt op een prachtige locatie in een schitterende omgeving. Het contact met de huiseigenaar was prettig en verliep goed. In de directe en verder weg gelegen omgeving is veel moois te zien. Een leuke zwemplek in de rivier is lopend in circa 20 minuten vanuit het huis te bereiken. In 5 minuten loop je naar een authentiek Italiaans restaurant, waar we hartelijk ontvangen werden en het eten goed is.
