"Loved this place! So peaceful and relaxing, yet still within driving distance to nearby towns and great excursions. Federico and Abigail were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. Breakfast was light but fresh and healthy—croissants, homemade fruit cakes, fresh juices, a variety of coffees, even some homemade cheese. We especially appreciated the "honesty bar" with its nice selection of wines. We enjoyed a few glasses out on the terrace and in the cozy living room. Highly recommend if you're looking for a relaxing getaway with thoughtful hosts."

"We had 13 people ages 4-83 stay for a week. The pools (one indoor and one outdoor) were wonderful and the views from the outdoor pool and terrace above spectacular. The house is looking its age in some ways, but is very comfortable, functional and spacious. The kitchen and outdoor grill worked great for cooking large meals. We had some problems with the air conditioning, but the owners dispatched help almost immediately. The location requires a drive to go anywhere, and cute Italian towns with inviting piazzas are not in the immediate vicinity, but a bit of a drive gets you to many lovely places. We had a great time!"

"Clean, with several English speaking staff, and very close to the Basilica. The breakfast attendant, Momo, was so generous and kind when a member of our party needed some extra help. He really went above and beyond. Certainly would recommend if you value cleanliness and proximity to sights and restaurants."

"We had a lovely stay at Grand Hotel San Gemini! It’s a beautifully renovated hotel with great attention to detail, located in a fantastic spot right in the old town—peaceful, quiet, and full of charm. Free parking just a few meters away was a big plus. The bed was very comfortable, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was warm and welcoming. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, always ready and happy to assist. The highlight for us was definitely the swimming pool—absolutely fantastic, surrounded by greenery and perfect for relaxing on a hot day. Highly recommended!."
