"This home is amazing. We have traveled all over the world, and this was one of our all-time favorite houses. Pictures don’t do it justice! The decor is interesting and layered without feeling cluttered or like you’re in someone else’s private space. Fully stocked kitchen- we enjoyed a nice dinner in the historic dining room, and grilled by the pool for another great evening in the large enclosed patio space. Beds were comfortable and there were plenty of extra pillows and blankets. If you need a nice place to stay, you’ll love it. If you’re into historic homes - you’ll never want to leave! Epic. We’ll be looking for a reason to come back soon."

"Absolutely loved our stay here for the 2024 eclipse! We were only here two nights, but wished we could have stayed for a month! Inside we felt like we were nestled deep in the mountains of Colorado, yet this cabin is located only 5-15 minutes to pretty much anywhere in Poplar Bluff. The décor is amazing and makes you feel right at home. The bed was nice and comfy, and there was plenty of space to be had. We didn’t want to leave! Clay was an excellent host as we had pretty much anything we needed. He gave some great recommendations for some local restaurants, but we’ll have to come back to try all of them. He was also very accommodating for our eclipse viewing setup and let us pick anywhere on his 2-acre front yard. We ended up with a perfect view of the eclipse, so it made it that much better of an experience. Much like the eclipse itself, our stay here was absolutely amazing! Very highly recommended!"
