"Talbot House has a history that is so important and our stay had extra meaning just for that reason. We really enjoyed chatting with other guests, too. The bathroom facilities were immaculate and the beds were very comfortable. It was truly like visiting a 'home'. I would recommend to everyone!"

"If you are coming to this part of Belgium, it is well located. The condition of the hotel is pretty good - seems recently renovated - it is more of a 'guest house or B&B.' The management / receptionist that I met was very friendly and helpful - the place has some color, which I liked. However, some issues: no hot water in the shower - it was maybe a little warm, mostly cold... not nice. And, I was left with only the end of the toilet roll and I didnt find spare rolls. This is kind of outrageous. The manager/receptionist did apologize (and seemed sincere) but, apologies only get you so far for lacking hot water and having no toilet roll. With some small improvements / attention to details - this could be a pretty nice, cozy, local place to stay. The restaurant was OK - portion size was good, price was OK, quality was OK - not amazing, but not bad. The terrace is nice for sitting in the sun. I would go back if the issues I raised were sure not to happen again."

"A lovely place to stay just two minutes walk from the square which is we’re all the shops and restaurants and bars are the room was lovely and clean bed are really clean and comfortable 10 minutes drive to lpres were we wanted to go to the menen gate and war graveyard and museums all in all a great place "

"As a business traveller, this was a great find. On entry, the place has an amazing and welcoming patio garden which leads to the reception / bar. The room was immaculately clean as was the gigantic bathroom. The owner, Sandy, made me and other guests most welcome and i'll definitely be staying here again next month. "
