"I had the best time staying at this VRBO. It was clean and I always felt safe in the location. It was very walkable. I would love to come back some day! Highly recommend. (The only feedback I have is that I extended my stay and two people showed up on random days to clean so there needs to be better communication within the cleaning team and property management.)"

Located across from a canal, it has extensive views of all the comings and goings on the canal. Beautiful! Please heed the owner's warning about the steep stairs. "Great apartment in a fun location. We really enjoyed being right in/on the edge of the hustle and bustle. And the location on the canal we were on was excellent. The tree-lined canal, the local restaurants and pubs, the early evening golden hour…all were great. Two things to note: the noise in the alley will definitely impact your sleep late into the night. "This was a great place to stay while visiting Amsterdam. Boland is very easy to communicate with and is very informative. The place was well stocked and very comfortable. Although the stairs are steep, which is common in Amsterdam, my husband and I are 60 and were able to manage them with no problem. I would definitely stay there again!"

"Amazing location. But it is a basement unit and there were a few weird things about it. The sink in the bathroom has a huge faucet that makes it impossible to wash your face and challenging even to brush your teeth. There were tons of decorative pillows but only two you would want to put your face on. But overall a very nice stay, just not sure I'd call it a luxury apartment."
