"After an exhausting day of travel with 3 delayed flights we arrived at The Lodge at 11:30 pm instead of noon as planned. A very pleasant young lady greeted us at the desk and offered to open the snack shop for a much needed adult beverage. Since we arrived so late we asked for a late checkout and the manager did not hesitate to accommodate us. Lovely large room,beautiful property. Will definitely go back!"

"We wanted to leave you a heartfelt note of thanks for sharing your beautiful home with us. Our time at Moonlight Basin was truly incredible, and we enjoyed every moment of our stay.From hiking beneath those endless blue Montana skies to fly fishing on the Yellowstone River, every day brought another wonderful experience. We enjoyed incredible meals, explored the area, and especially fell in love with Lone Mountain Ranch—what an absolutely beautiful and special place.There is something magical about Big Sky and Moonlight Basin, and having M5 as our home during our visit made the experience even more memorable. You have such a beautiful place, and we feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to enjoy it.Thank you again for sharing your home with us and allowing us to make such wonderful memories here. "The location is something you rarely find anymore, and the place is really new and modern. We’d do it again in a heartbeat, but you should heavily consider the following:The only real problem we faced was that it gets hot without AC! So, the only option is to open the very nice windows, however, the catch is that the smallest bugs still get through the window screens! So, you’re trying to sleep with swarms of gnats that are coming in since you have lights on! So, it was really hard to sweat all night and fight off the bugs too! If you have girls, it’s just a bad situation. The ceiling fans and the limited portable fans didn’t do enough to compensate. So, there really should be a trobe of very large box fans in all rooms to try to cool the residents and help keep the “indoor bugs” off you at night.The other issue we encountered is the lack of outside trash handling of any kind without texting the host to send someone to get your “excess” garbage bags?? They kept saying any trash you’d routinely take to an outside dumpster was “excess”? Literally anything more than what fit in a standard kitchen bins was “excess”! It was completely confusing and a clear issue at the property overall.For added “fun”, we also had maintenance men show up one morning, have a loud “meeting” next to our open windows about 7 a.m. When we asked them about waking us up, they blew us off and opened canisters of turpentine next to us!?"
